“Juno first went to Hotel Catifornia when they had only been open a couple of weeks. We were really impressed with the lovely accommodation and the setting.....over the subsequent time nothing has changed..everything is spotlessly clean and equipped for happy cats. Juno has had several happy holidays with Aunty Suzi so she knows the place well. Back last summer a situation arose where, at short notice, I needed accommodation for Juno for an extended period so Suzi was my first Port of Call. She took Juno in and she spent around 10 weeks at Catifornia being looked after by Suzi and her helpers . Hotel Catifornia made a very difficult situation so much easier to deal with I'm absolutely certain that she couldn't have been better looked after Thank you Suzi & team so much. Happy to report that Juno is happily back home now with her mum.”

Matilda has spent just over two weeks at Hotel Catifornia and has feasted with cuddles and grooming and has clearly had a wonderful time. She also posed for Facebook while I was away. This was a particular treat for me, although I could see that she wasn't missing me ! Thank you Suzi. X

This is the second time our cat has stayed at Hotel Catifornia and what a wonderful cattery. The pens are excellent quality, clean and warm. She was so relaxed when I collected her today. Thank you Suzi for giving me peace of mind.

This is the first time I have used Hotel Catifornia and I was most impressed. It is spacious, clean and well run in a beautiful setting. Felix was happy there and extremely well looked after at a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again and recommend this cattery to everyone.

After being horrendously let down by Noosabay cattery the evening before an early flight the following morning, Suzi at Hotel Catifornia came to my rescue and gave my beloved cat a comfy home for the duration of my holiday. Not only was Suzi so accommodating at the drop of a hat, it was obvious when I came to pick up my cat, that she had given him lots of attention (he's Siamese so needs lots of it!) and he was a happy and healthy boy. Thank you so much again Suzi, you're an absolute saviour and you clearly have a real love and affinity with cats! Couldn't recommend Hotel Catifornia more!

“Suzi was an absolute delight looking after my little Maine Coon kitten. Such an easy process, nothing I requested or asked was a problem, and she was just brilliant through the whole thing. My little Rocco has come home after 4 days completely clean, happy, healthy, and with a full belly. I was a little worried as this was his first time away from home and without me for more than just an overnight, but I wouldn't hesitate to send him there again. Suzi was a fantastic, knowledgeable, and old-school - she gets cats completely, and even when my Rocco decided to get overly zoomy and almost hurt himself (kittens, eh?) she checked him over and made sure he was all good. Would 100% recommend Hotel Catifornia Cattery to anybody - and the decent prices were absolutely a bonus!! Thank you again Suzi!”

“Our almost 17-year-old cat Lexie was a guest at Hotel Catifornia over Christmas. The country garden setting of the property is just perfect for a cattery!
Its calm and peaceful atmosphere being great for Lexie, as she's always been a sensitive little soul, so can be quite anxious and unsettled in certain situations. But as before, as she's stayed there a few times now, she had nothing to worry about. As Suzi (one half of the couple who own and run the cattery) always look after their guests extremely well.
Suzi emailing over Christmas to let us know Lexie was being “spoilt rotten” with lotsa cuddles, which she would've loved as she's a very affectionate cat, enjoying some delicious food, and her bed being placed in her pen in a nice elevated spot near the heater, which as Suzi said, “she was loving” as she was all warm and cozy.
Plus “Santa” even brought all the guests Christmas gifts!
I have mobility issues, and as the cattery building is a bit of a distance from the parking area, Suzi always offers to collect Lexie from my car and return her back to it when I pick her up, which makes it so much easier for me. ”

“We were very nervous leaving our cat in a new cattery for so long (3 weeks), but upon arrival, the owners helped put us at ease.
The cattery was set back from the road through several gates, surrounded by a tranquil garden with lots of flowers to attract birds.
We were able to set our cat up in her chalet and make sure she was settled well before we left. (The cat carrier/kennel stays in the chalet for safety/evacuation purposes plus adding an extra sense of security for the cat as they can sleep in open kennel if they want.)
The owners listened to our cat's particular needs and I was confident when we left her.
I was able to check in via email for cat-updates and had speedy responses.
When we picked up our cat, I could tell she was totally relaxed and at home. She was even able to get some extra exercise time in the halls with her lead! She was comfortable with everyone working there, was playful, and overall happy. (She is a Maine Coon— long haired—and she was brushed regularly, obviously, as her coat was smooth and healthy.)

“Minky & Squeak have just returned from their second stay this year at Hotel Catifornia.
I initially chose this cattery because of the 5 star rating it has with East Suffolk Council. From my first contact with Suzi it was obvious that she runs an efficient service and is knowledgeable and caring about the cats she cares for.
The cattery is extremely clean, located in a quiet spot overlooking the garden and the pens are a good size. (Our two very lively cats shared a pen very comfortably).
Drop offs and collections are not rushed & you have an opportunity to settle your cat into the pen and discuss anything you are worried about before you leave. I contacted Suzi a couple of times whilst we were away to see how they were getting on & I had quick & reassuring responses from Suzi. I highly recommend Hotel Catifornia Cattery. We will definitely book our boys in again next time we go away ”
